BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive artificial intelligence model launched just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has produced a wave of attention all over the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer efficiency that competitors alternatives from the U.S., however the business says it was at less than a tenth of the cost of those designs.
